How to Automatically Store Mac Downloads To iCloud

Syncing files across all devices though iClouds is a feature that a lot of mac users enjoy. However, the process of physically moving the files from your Downloads folder to iCloud can become exhausting after some time.
However, you can easily automate this process just by making a few changes to your browser settings. To do this, follow these simple steps:
Create a new main folder in your iCloud Drive.
Create a shortcut for this folder in Finder, by dragging it into your Finder Sidebar.
Open Safari browser and click on “Safari” in the browser menu.
Click on “Preferences”.
In the “General” tab, go to “File Download Location”.
Select your newly created iCloud folder from the drop down menu.
For Chrome users, open “Settings” and then click on “Show Advanced Settings”.
Scroll down to “Download” and click on “Change” to select your new folder.
All your downloads will now directly be saved into your iClouds Drive, from where they’ll be synced across all your devices.
