How To Clear Up Space After Installing Windows 10 Anniversary Update

[Clear Upto 10GB Space In One Go]

Windows 10 is the latest version of the beloved Windows operating system developed by Microsoft. Thanks to it’s features and fresh design, this version of the OS has seen high levels of adoption among PC users.

To make sure that these users are able to get the best experience possible, Microsoft has been releasing timely updates that add to the existing experience, while fixing the bugs along with it.

While there have been a lot of updates that service this purpose, the Anniversary Update has been the latest, and probably the most extensive update to be released since the launch of the OS itself.

However, there is a negative aspect to installing all these updates. After you install the new updates, the old ones still remain on your system, taking up a lot of space.

If you have already installed the Anniversary Update, this space will be almost over 10GB. That is a lot of space to keep occupied. So if you want to free up that space, please follow these steps:

  1. Open the Start Menu.
  2. Search for “Disk Cleanup” in the search bar.
  3. Run the Disk Cleanup Tool.
  4. In the window that opens, click on “Clean Up System Files”.
  5. This will update the list.
  6. Select “Previous Windows Installations” from this list.
  7. You can also select other files to be deleted.
  8. Click “Ok” to remove these files.

With these easy steps, you will be able to free up a lot of space from your computer.
