Apple has always tried to make sure that the user experience of their devices always remains intuitive and hassle free. This is why they offer so many ways to automate a lot of regular tasks.
One of these methods of automation involves activating the screen corners of your laptop in such a way that just moving your mouse to a corner automatically carries out simple tasks, such as going back to desktop, or launching launchpad.
If you are a macbook user and want to activate the corners of your screen as well, follow these simple steps:
Open the “Settings” app and select “Desktop & Screen Saver”.
In the “Desktop & Screen Saver” section, click on the “Screen Saver” tab.
In the “Screen Saver” tab, click on “Hot Corners” button located in the bottom right corner.
You will now see a popup that contains your laptop screen in the middle with four drop down menu boxes at it’s each corner.
Select the function you want a particular corner to carry out, along with any special modifier key you want to add to the action.
You can select four specific tasks, with their own specific modifier keys so that you don’t accidentally activate the corner.
With these easy steps, you will be able to use the corners of your laptop screen as a tool for task automation. Have fun.
