How To Hide Apps On Mac

[Use Desktop Curtain App For Easy Hiding]

When it comes to using a computer, most of us don’t think twice about leaving our apps open. After all, what’s the point of owning a computer if you can’t do what you want on it.

However, often times there are some activities that we would rather keep secret from people who we know have a habit of peeking over our shoulders.

In Mac, this issue is generally taken care of with the help of Virtual Desktops, an inbuilt feature that lets you hide apps in plain sight without minimizing them.

Unfortunately, this is just a temporary solution, as anyone with a minimal experience of the Mac operating system can easily realize what’s happening.

Another solution for this is an app called Desktop Curtain, which can hide not only the apps, but everything else as well. All you need to do is follow these simple steps:

  1. Download, install and run the app.
  2. In the interface that opens up, click on the drop down menu next to Curtain Level.
  3. Select everything that you want to hide.
  4. Click on the Choose button to select which picture you want to hide your items behind.
  5. The app will now only show the application that you are currently using.

With these simple steps, you will be able to easily hide all your desktop items in plain sight. The app unfortunately will cost you $4.99. So make sure you need it before you get it. Have fun.
