How To Send/Receive Encrypted Android Messages On Mac

[Use SMS For Apple Messages App For Texting]

Apple allows it’s users to send and receive text messages through it’s Messages app on Mac. It uses your own phone number to send and receive these messages by syncing with your iPhone. However, this feature was locked for iPhone’s until now.

Even if you don’t own an iPhone, you can still use an app called “SMS For Apple Messages” to activate and use this feature on Android as well. To use this app, follow these steps:

  1. Download, install and run the app.
  2. Create an account by setting a new username and password.
  3. On your Mac, open the “Messages” app.
  4. Click on the “Messages” menu and select “Add Account”.
  5. On the first popup, select “Other”.
  6. On the second popup, select “Jabber” from the drop down menu.
  7. Enter the username and password you just used to create your account.
  8. Add @ichat.mdrs.io to the end of your username.
  9. Click “Sign In”.
  10. The Messages app will now sync with your Android phone.
  11. Make sure “Doze Mode” if off on your Android phone.
  12. You can now access and reply to any android message directly from your Mac.

With these easy steps, you will be able to send and receive Android messages directly from your Mac. Have fun.
