When it comes to regular watches, the orientation of the watch doesn’t matter as the device will perform the same no matter which hand you wear it on.
However, when it comes to smartwatches, the orientation of the device can play a big role in how responsive it can be. Thankfully for Apple Watch users, the device comes with the option to configure the watch in multiple orientation locks.
To set these locks, follow these simple steps:
Open “Settings” app on your Apple Watch.
Tap on the “General” button and then on “Orientation”.
Tap on “Left” or “Right” under the “Wrist” section depending on which wrist you want to wear the watch on.
Tap on “Left” or “Right” under the “Digital Crown” section depending on which side you place your crown on.
You will be able to select four different orientation locks for your Apple Watch based on these two options.
With these easy steps, you will be able to easily set your Apple watch in different orientations for different wrists.
