How To Enable Dynamic Security For Android Smartphones

[Use DroidLock App To Create Constantly Changing Pins]

Pin codes are the most commonly used form of security on most android smartphones available in the market today. But these pins are only valuable as long as noone sees you entering them into your smartphone. Once someone else sees the code, they can easily bypass the security of your smartphone.

While you can take care of this problem by changing your pin code, it can still become a hassle when you have to do it 5 times a day. Now, an android app called DroidLock gives you the option of automating this process.

It does so by constantly changing your pin based on certain pre-decided contexts (such as current time, date or even battery percentage) that only you know about. This way you get the security of a truly dynamic security system without the worry of remembering multiple passwords.

To use this simple yet secure feature, all you have to do is follow these simple steps:

  1. Go to “Settings>Security” and enable “Unknown Sources”.
  2. Download, install and run DroidLock app.
  3. Create a Master Password.
  4. Enter Security Questions and Answers.
  5. Click “Activate” to give DroidLock “Administrator Rights”.
  6. “Allow” any other permissions the app asks for.
  7. Choose between Time, Date and Battery options for creating contextual passcodes.
  8. In the paid version, you can choose multiple contexts for password creations.
  9. Lock/Restart your phone and enter the Master Password once.

Now, everytime you try to unlock the phone, you will be required to enter a new passcode based on the context you choose, such as time of the day, your current battery percentage or both.

This way you will be able to always have a new passcode for more enhanced security.
