How To Enable/Disable Raise To Wake In iPhone

[Smart Activation Feature Comes With iOS 10]

Waking our phone’s up is a task that we all perform multiple times a day. Whether to get access to the various applications, or just to see if we have received any notification or what time it is currently.

This is habit so common that pressing the Power/Home button has become a second instinct almost. However, seeing the importance of this activity and in order to make it even more easier to execute, Apple has added a very special feature to the new iOS 10.

This feature is called Raise To Wake and it automates the activation process by waking up your phone automatically, as soon as you pick up your phone.

Generally, this feature is activated by default in most phones. But if by chance you aren’t able to access it, or just want to know where to enable/disable it, follow these simple steps:

  1. Open “Settings” and scroll down to “Display & Brightness”.
  2. Open “Display & Brightness” and scroll down to “Raise To Wake”.
  3. Tap the toggle button located next to “Raise To Wake”.
  4. When activated, the toggle button will turn Green.
  5. When deactivated, the toggle button will turn gray.

With these easy steps, you will be able to access and control the Raise To Wake feature in your iPhone.
