How To Encrypt Your Android Data

[Manually Setup Encryption For Data Security]

Windows and Android are some of the most hacked and attacked systems out there. While there are still lots of programs for securing your windows laptops against attacks, there are not that many options for android.

However, what every android phone does have is an inbuilt encryption option which can make your phone secure. This feature, unfortunately is not automatically activated like the iPhone.

So if you want to use it with your Android phone, you need to manually set it up by following these steps:

  1. Make sure your phone has more than 80% batter backup.
  2. Open “Settings” and scroll down to “Security”.
  3. Open “Security” and scroll down to “Encrypt Phone”.
  4. Click on “Encrypt Phone” to start the process.
  5. Click on “Encrypt Phone” again, in the confirmation screen.
  6. Wait for the encryption process to complete (which can take a long time).
  7. When restarted, go back to the “Security” section in “Settings”.
  8. You will see an “Encrypted” status under the “Encrypt Phone” button.
  9. Make sure you set a tough password for your phone.

With these easy steps, you can secure all your Android data, thus keeping it safe from attacks.
