How To Encrypt Your iPhone Data

[Use Secure Passcode's For Better Security]

If you are working on your laptop, it’s easy to keep your information secure. There are lots of programs that help you keep your data safe from potential attacks. However, not a lot of programs are available to do the same thing for your phone.

This becomes a big problem as we often use our phones for conducting ecommerce purchases through our bank accounts. Not to mention all the sensitive pictures and videos we keep on our phones all the time.

Thankfully, Apple iPhone comes with inbuilt encryption, which makes it easy to keep your data secure. However, your data is only as secure as the key you set for it.

This is why it is important to set a secure passcode for your phone, so that your data remains safe as well. To make sure that your phone is truly safe, all you need to do is follow these simple steps:

  1. Open “Settings” and scroll down to “Touch ID & Passcode”.
  2. Scroll down to, and click on “Change Passcode”.
  3. Enter your existing passcode before setting a new passcode.
  4. Set a hard to guess passcode for your device.
  5. To set an alphanumeric passcode, click on “Passcode Options”.
  6. Once done, scroll down to the bottom of the “Touch ID & Passcode” section.
  7. If secure, you phone will display a “Data Protection Is Enabled” message at the very bottom.

With these easy steps, you can make sure that your iPhone is safe from possible intrusions. Have fun.
