As we begin to own more and more devices, it becomes harder and harder to control all the data saved on them. Either you have to keep all those devices open and running in one place, or use complicated third party apps to share it between them.
To make this easier, different operating systems offer different solutions to their customers. While there are plenty of options available for Windows and Android devices, there are still not a lot of great options for the Apple ecosystem.
Among the few that do exist, Find It is one of the more stable and usable ones. To use it, follow these simple steps:
Download, install and run Find It App on your iPhone.
Download, install and run Find It Server App on your Mac.
In the Find It Server app, copy the IP Address and enable “Open At Login”.
In the iPhone app, tap the “Settings” icon in the top right corner.
Paste the IP Address from the Mac app in the IP Address section.
All the files on your Mac Desktop will now be available on your app.
If you want to include more folders, change the “Search Domain” field in your Mac app from “Desktop” to “Custom” and select all the folders you want to include.
With these easy steps, you will be able to easily access all your mac files on your iPhone with ease.
