[Clone Windows OS Using EaseUS Partition Master Tool]
Just like all your pictures, videos and games, Windows too can be transferred from your native hard drive to a new one by following certain simple steps.
This process will use the partition management software, EaseUS Partition Master, in order to clone and save your entire windows setup to a new hard drive, without have to worry about reconfiguring the whole thing from scratch.
To do this, follow these simple steps:
Backup all your personal files to a separate location before deleting them from your original hard drive (including unimportant softwares), in order to make the Windows operating system smaller in size.
Download, install and run EaseUS Partition Master tool.
Connect the new hard drive to your computer.
Select “Wizard” from the software’s main menu and select “Migrate OS to SSD/HDD”.
Select your hard drive as the destination disk.
Delete any/all partitions on the destination disk by selecting the “Delete partitions on the destination hard disk” option from the window prompt.
Resize the disk to match your current drive’s partition size.
Follow the directions, recheck the information and partition sizes, and then click “Finish”.
Click “Apply” to start OS migration from your old hard drive to the new one.
Wait till the process is completed, then test run the new drive to see if it worked.
These process will let you clone your entire windows, along with all your personal settings onto a new hard drive with ease. If there is any issue, you can use the backup to restore any accidental damage.
